I’m a huge fan of the brand Mint Velvet and it has fast become one of my go-to’s, particularly as my style has evolved over the past year. You can find some incredible pieces that boast beautiful, high quality fabrics, a great cut and also offer versatility. I’m currently assembling more of a capsule wardrobe and Mint Velvet is fast becoming a consistent theme!
Their sale is always worth a visit, both in-store and online. The discounts are really quite substantial so you can often pick up some fantastic staple pieces for almost half of the price.
Here is a rundown of my 5 favourite items in the summer sale!
Reduced from £69 to £35, this white textured vest is one of those pieces that you can reach for time and again and style in a multitude of ways. It looks great with jeans, can be layered in the winter months and teamed with shorts or lighter fabric trousers in the summer. I’d say it’s more of an ivory tone than white, giving it a softer finish and flattering for many skin tones. I love the open-work shoulder detailing and braided finishing adding a creative, unique twist!
Dakota Indigo Boyfriend Jeans
I do like to see a good pair of jeans in a sale and these Dakota boyfriend style jeans do not disappoint, taking you through all seasons! The boyfriend fit is super flattering; not to baggy and can easily be smartened up with boots. They create a lovely streamlined look and despite the relaxed cut, can be dressed up or down in a variety of ways. I’ve actually tried these on and they really are so comfortable and flattering!
Reduced from £89 to £49, these are a superb sale investment.
Pink V Neck Fitted Jumper
This has to be one of my favourite sale items! I’m always drawn to feminine, pale pink tones as find it compliments my colouring and this slim fitting jumper really is the epitome of effortlessly chic. Again, incredibly versatile, the V neckline is delicately flattering and it can be used as one of those layering pieces in the cooler months while looking amazing with simple white jeans and loafers in the spring/summer.

Faye White Backless Loafers
Although these are definitely a spring/summer shoe, a good, classic loafer never goes out of style and this pair with their chain detailing effortlessly elevate an outfit. I already own a pair of Mint Velvet tan loafers and the quality really is exceptional. These white ones would work with so many summer outfits and at £49 from £89, are a brilliant find!
Jolene Print Mini Shirt Dress
When looking for sale pieces, I try to be as conscious as possible about how they can transition through seasons and trends. This beautiful shirt dress ticks all the boxes as could be layered with a chunky knit cardigan, tights and boots in the winter and worn with sandals in the summer. I love the abstract print and the relaxed fit makes this comfortable whilst also accentuating the waist with the sash belt.
